Evaluate This Draw calculates the precise average return for a given way to play a hand. To invoke it, select the cards you wish to hold, then choose the command from the Investigation menu. The value of the play will appear in the box just above the Change button. The number shown is relative to one — that is, the average number of credits returned per credit risked. After evaluating you may change which cards are held, then evaluate this new draw.
The program evaluates the draw by dealing out every unique combination of the remaining cards and averaging the results. This means that the more cards you are discarding the more combinations there are, and the longer it takes. Holding three or four cards takes almost no time at all to evaluate, while holding no cards may take several minutes on slower machines.
